In a retelling of the story of the Fantastic Four, begins when genius Reed Richards builds what he thinks is a teleportation device which he unveils at a science fair. And when it doesn&#39;t produce the results he said would happen, he&#39;s shun by everyone. But a visiting scientist, Franklin Storm thinks that Reed built the means to cross into another dimension. He offers Reed a scholarship so he goes to New York to work on it and he works with Storm&#39;s daughter Sue and his former student Victor Von Doom. Storm also brings in his son Johnny, a mechanic to help him. When Reed says it&#39;s done, Storm decides to send him, Sue, Johnny and Victor. Reed asks his best friend Ben Grimm to join him. When they get there, they&#39;re exposed to elements not native to their own, And when they return, they start to change or gain abilities. The movie is interesting and has some good and funny scenes but it takes too long to build up to the ending which is short. The ending is anti climactic and DOOM LOOKS TERRIBLE. The actors are all fine and the director is not to blame for this. The movie could have been better if the fight between the thing and Mr fantastic was longer. The visuals was great and I honestly blame the build up to an anticlimactic ending.honestly I would suggest people go out to watch it because if they get enough money they Will improve on what was wrong with this movie. It is not as good as the last fantastic 4 movie although the acting Is better there was not enough things to grasp a viewers Attention. I love the Fantastic 4! The comic books, the cartoons, and the movies! That is all movies, with the exception of this one. Truth be known, I am still trying to figure out what it was. This movie was about 5 kids who are gifted, don&#39;t make friends and play nice with others. Instead, they read, work, study, and create all of the time. That is, except for Ben. Ben is rather a social outcast because he is the junkyard kid and he is abused by his family. <br/><br/>The writing/story line/etc., is just off. I am not sure if this is what the director intended, or if the director didn&#39;t know what he was doing. Aside from a poorly developed story, I have problems watching the movie. The suits that they wear are developed after they come back from the 4th dimension. Reed runs away after coming back from the 4th dimension. The government searches all over the world to find him, unsuccessfully. Finally, with Sue&#39;s help, they find Reed and pick him up. When they do he is wearing the fantastic 4 suit. It just doesn&#39;t track well and I feel asleep watching it the first time. Ultimately, Fox’s stab at reviving one of its inherited Marvel properties feels less like a blockbuster for this age of comics-oriented tentpoles than it does another also-ran — not an embarrassment, but an experiment that didn’t gel.
